Baghdad trade forum scheduled for 28–29 October; stated registration deadline has passed

The UN notice gives a 13 October registration deadline for the event, which combines company matchmaking with an Iraqi-products exhibition.

The published 13 October registration deadline for the Iraq National Trade and Investment Forum has passed. The UN’s notice continues to list the event at Baghdad’s Babylon Rotana Hotel on 28–29 October and gives no revised registration deadline. The Ministry of Trade and Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce are partners, with EU support and International Trade Centre implementation.

The programme spans agrifood, construction materials, renewable energy, manufacturing, transport and digital services. Its commercial component includes arranged company meetings and an Iraqi-products exhibition; applicants for matchmaking will be asked for company profiles and partnership interests.

The notice links to registration and describes SME support sessions on finance, arbitration and trade-related services. It does not announce investment commitments or procurement awards.
